Our Pool Ranges

Our fibreglass pools and spas have been purposely engineered with comfort, aesthetics and safety in mind. Some things you can expect with a Fibreglass Pools Sunshine Coast swimming pool are a safety ledge running the perimeter of the pool. This is integrated to boost safety by enabling swimmers to step onto the edge if they need a reprieve from swimming while they catch their breath rather than having to swim back to the step or having to climb out where they are. All pools have a smooth interior that offers superior gripping properties while remaining non-abrasive and soft-underfoot. This means no more scraps or abrasions.

FAQ's

How Long Is Installation?

The earliest one of our fibreglass could be finished is in a week. However, many variables can affect the overall time it takes to install your pool. Some of these are set in periods of rain, permit approval delays and the time of year you choose to get your pool installed. The warmer months are typically busy for the pool industry. On average, you can expect your fibreglass pool to be installed in a few weeks.

How Much Are Fibreglass Pools?

The price is one of the top questions we get asked here at Fibreglass Pools Sunshine Coast. Obviously, cost is a huge factor for many. It’s tricky to give a specific answer to this question when there are so many factors at play that can alter how much you pay for your pool. Some things that can add to the price include how much access there is to get into your backyard, the type of pool you choose, and whether you want to add inclusions such as lighting, self-cleaning systems etc. Starting prices for a fibreglass pool are around $30,000 and go up from here. For an accurate price for the pool you want for your home, it’s best to give us a call and we can discuss this when we come out for an obligation free quote.

Will I Need To Organise Permits?

No, our team will organise all the necessary permit approvals you need to install your pool so, it’s not something that you will have to do.

My Backyard Is Small, Can I Still Have A Pool?

In most cases, yes! We have plenty of small pool options! Swimming pools are no longer a luxury home inclusion reserved for people with generous backyards. If however, your backyard is too small for a pool, you may still be able to install a swim spa or spa instead if that’s something you’d consider.

Are Pool Fences Mandatory?

Yes, they are. The Australian Government introduced pool fencing laws in 1991 in an attempt to reduce the annual number of preventable drownings. Compliance laws surround pool fencing, and yours will need to meet national standards.

There Isn't Clear Access To My Backyard

While it is easier to put in a pool when there is clear access, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a pool if you don’t. We have many resources available at our disposal and can come up with a plan to gain access effectively. If access is a problem, options to get to the site will be presented to you at the quoting phase so, you will have an idea of the costs associated and the logistics involved.

My Backyard Slopes, Is This A Problem?

It is highly likely that installing a swimming pool is a feasible option, even if your backyard slopes. Our pool builders are highly knowledgeable and can install swimming pools or virtually any type of terrain. Sometimes installing a pool on a slope can produce a better result in terms of aesthetics than if it were to be installed on a flat area of the backyard. Our team will converse collaboratively with you to come up with something you are thrilled with.

Should I Get Pool Extras Before Or After?

If you know you want to add additional elements such as pool lighting, jets, or a water feature, it’s a good idea to discuss these with your pool builder when in the initial stages of your pool planning. It may be more straightforward and cheaper to install them when your pool is being built, installing them later can be more labour intensive and more expensive too.

Is Inground The Only Option?

While inground pool installations are popular, they are not the only way our pools can be installed. For some, the layout of their yard doesn’t suit a full inground installation, and a partial or above ground install is better. Our fibreglass pools can be installed inground, partially above ground or above ground. Your pool builder will discuss these options with you allowing you to make an informed decision.

What Time Of Year Is Best To Install A Pool?

There is no bad time to install a swimming pool however, summertime is the busiest time of year to install a pool, and you may miss out on your preferred date if you haven’t booked early. Installing your pool in winter is beneficial for several reasons including the wait times are typically less, and your pool will be ready to use at the first sight of warmer days.

How Early Should I Book My Pool Build?

Since COVID-19, the pool industry has boomed exponentially. Many pool companies have waiting lists of a year to 2 years long. If you know you want to install a pool, it’s best to book as soon as you can to ensure you don’t have to wait excessively longer than you want to.
